Can two week disposable contact lenses still be used beyond two weeks if they are still comfortable and in good condition?
To maintain optimum eye health, it is advisable to follow the wearing schedule prescribed by the doctor. The concept of wearing two week disposable lenses is that you discard them and replace them with a new pair after two weeks. This is to ensure that there will be no protein debris build-up in the contact lens surface.

Is a contact lens prescription the same as eyeglasses prescription?
No, they are not the same. When you fit for contact lenses, you should have current contact lens prescription that specifies the power, size and type of the lenses.

Do two week disposable contact lenses have to be replaced when the two week replacement schedule lapse even if they were just worn part time?
No, two weeks refer to the actual amount of time the contact lenses are worn so they can still be worn for much longer than the prescribed two weeks if they are not worn full time.

What is the proper way to insert contact lenses?
Hold your upper lid open with your left hand’s index and second finger. Simultaneously, hold your lower lid open with the second finger of your right hand. Look straight ahead and slowly and gently place the lens on your eye. Carefully release your eyelids and blink. You can gently massage your eyelid to center the lens.
